yes, u nid to specified nroute in RR Config. then when u press the button on the GPS from RR, then shud be ok then.

I think it does work but I just can't get it to work but thanks for the help bro...
Anyway I've already bought Garmin Nuvi 300 so now all I need is a Malaysia map. I've check with MalSingmap.com website for latet updates but due to some reason they are no longer releasing new updates of the map, at least under some terms & conditions that you will need to contribute something in return to unlock the code to use the latest map...
I think it's a bit unfair for me as I'm only travelling within Klang Valley most of the time so I didn't have the priveledge of contributing as other members already have done so....

Yes, garmin mobile pc can run on carpc. no need gps proxy or com0com. can use maps and POI from http://www.malfreemaps.com/ also with full function no need to contribute to get maps not like the malsingmaps.

yup .. true .. CarPc can run GMPC .. heres a picture of Centrafuse running GMPC with Holux GPSlim 240
